The first word Michel asked to learn in Swedish was “vinkelhake”. Ever since, it is the word we use for a L square.
Vinkel means angle in Swedish.
Vinkel began as a collaboration between Anna Senno, Michel and Bertrand Cayre. Anna Senno is a Swedish born visual artist. Michel and Bertrand Cayre are father and son, along with five generations of French carpenters.
Vinkel is located in Miers, in a very small village in the Lot, south-west of France, where the street has been named after our carpentry.
